Just for fun: Olympus BioScapes 2010

For the past seven years, Olympus America has sponsored a competition for the most beautiful and/or extraordinary microscopic images. The photographs can be of anything within the life sciences. The top prize for 2010 was won by Igor Siwanowicz of the Max Planck Institute for this stunning photograph of the eyes of a Daddy longlegs (harvestman).
